Dropper bottles

PlasticProgress Pharma Packaging manufactures its own range of 3-part dropper systems, consisting of bottle, dropper and tamper-evident cap.

The squeezable plastic bottles, manufactured in pharma-grade LDPE, are produced by injection blow moulding offering superior quality and dimensional accuracy.

Our current available range comprises the following capacities: 5ml, 10ml, and 15ml. These bottles are mainly used in ophthalmic applications, but are suitable for other applications requiring a safe, constant drop system. Other capacities are under development.

The bottles, droppers and caps are manufactured with polymers and masterbatches in full compliance with the current European Pharmacopoeia edition. The bottles are available in natural or white color, and the tamper-evident caps in white; other colors are available upon request.

Our 3-part dropper systems are manufactured and sealed in our main ISO Class 7 cleanroom, with injection and moulding taking place in enclosed cabinets with HEPA filters and laminar flow of ISO Class 5, regularly audited and certified according to ISO 14644-1 standards.

The bottles, droppers and caps are each packed separately. Packaging is performed in heat-sealed double bags, in compliance with a validated packaging procedure to ISO 11607-2 standards.

Should you require sterilization of the eye-droppers, this is available through our partners using Gamma radiation or Ethylene Oxyde (EtO) sterilization process according to your product requirements.

We are available to submit to the FDA all required documentation to obtain a US DMF Type III Packaging Material for our 3-part dropper bottles, once we receive your purchase commitment.
